Rui Miyamoto (宮本 瑠衣 Miyamoto Rui) is one of the main characters of the series Haru Matsu Bokura. He is a 1st year high school student and a member of the Seiryo Basketball club.

Appearance

Rui is a young man with brown hair, green eyes and an average build. He is shorter than Towa Asakura in terms of height. He has an adorably innocent smile but that appears to be just a facade. He typically dresses in his standard school uniform with a t-shirt underneath. He wears the number 8 Seiryo jersey uniform during a match.

Personality

Rui has a cheerful and strong personality who isn't afraid to speak his mind. He is a little bit rude and mean-spirited at times but he can be serious and nice as well. He gets energetic and mischievous especially around Mitsuki Haruno. Rui claims that he uses his smile to charm people. He asserts that he remembers all the names and faces of all the girls who visits him during practice and enjoys the gifts and attention he is receiving from them. He also has a tendency to get jealous and competitive of Towa Asakura.

Mitsuki Haruno

Mitsuki is one of Rui's closest female friends. They met at the cafe where she works along with his friends, Towa Asakura, Kyousuke Wakamiya and Ryuuji Tada. He enjoys playing pranks on Mitsuki because of her honest reactions. One day, he plays with her phone and enters his contact information including Towa's cellphone number, for which Mitsuki felt very grateful. Later during the amusement park trip and after the school festival, it is implied that Rui may have feelings for Mitsuki, but decides to support her happiness no matter who she chooses in the end.
